Country Canines Grooming Salon is a professional dog grooming service located in the beautiful Currumbin Valley, at 29 Estelle Road, just near the iconic Currumbin Valley Rock Pool.

Country Canines is a boutique-style grooming salon specialising in small breeds, hand stripping and designer breed styling, offering calm, personalised grooming by Professional Gold Coast Groomer Vanessa Parsons.

Vanessa is the co-founder of Groomer Nation, Australian Ambassador for Shear Magic Products, former International Grooming Judge (IJA), touring member of Groom Team Australia (2014/2015), International Master Groomer, director of Quokkas Australian Groom Team and Therapeutic Pet Groomer. She is a multi award-winning Best in Show groomer and Queensland Royal Champion Groomer, with over 36 years of professional grooming experience on the Gold Coast.

While-You-Wait Grooming

What sets Country Canines apart from many grooming salons is the option to have your dog groomed while you wait.

There is a comfortable, air-conditioned waiting area with complimentary tea and coffee, or you are welcome to explore the beautiful Currumbin Valley while your dog is being groomed.
Most small breeds are completed in approximately 1 hour (depending on coat type and condition).

Premium Products & Treatments

Country Canines uses a premium range of Iv San Bernard (Italy) shampoos, conditioners and skin therapies, carefully selected to suit each dog’s individual coat and skin needs.

All dogs booked in for a full grooming treatment receive:

• Bath and blow dry

• Clipping and/or scissoring or hand stripping

• Nail trimming

• Ear care

• Finishing spray

• Bow or bandanna

Bookings & Appointments

Bookings are essential.

Grooming Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday – While-you-wait grooms (small breeds)

Thursday – Drop-off day (approx. 2–3 hour turnaround) (After-hours appointments are available by request and incur an additional fee.)
